The Tea Council of India is an advisory body set up by the Tea Board of India that
will monitor the Import and Export of Tea. Through this online mandatory checking mechanism the system shall ensure that the teas exported outside India as well as imported within India complies with the prescribed norms from time to time.
The important Stakeholders for the System are the Exporters, Importers, Inspection Agencies and Customs.
The Administrative body is The Tea Board of India which will overlook the functioning
of all stakeholders.
